First Aid Classes
Mountaineering Oriented First Aid (MOFA)
MOFA is a 28 hour intensive hands on class. It is geared to teach an individual basic first aid and its use in diagnosis/treatment of injuries sustained in the back country.Multiple hands-on practicums expose the student to all possible worst case scenario's that one can incounter. This way the student is quite prepared for when it really happens.

Note that these classes require a one day Saturday Session in the club house prior to the Lodge portion.

Prevention/treatment of injuries during simple hikes (~3 hr trip time)
This class is to help prepare individuals for all possible injuries that can be sustained during a simple hike.Information will range from preparedness prior to the hike, to minor injury treatment. The course will end with a group discussion on what would constitute and adequate first aid kit.
