Welcome to the Meany Lodge Bike Trip Page
The first annual Meany lodge Bike trip is almost upon us. What better way to come and see the lodge then by doing a Mountain bike ride. The trip stars at Hyack and follows the scenic John Wayne trail (Old Milwaulkee RR righ of way), then on FR 54, then on FR 420. You will spend the night at Meany and leave the next day. Rain or shine, we meet Saturday July 17th, at 9:30am (we will leave sharply at 10:00). On Sunday gear must be packed and ready to go by 1:00 pm and be picked up at the Hyak parking lot by 4:00pm.
The ride will be on compact gravel roads, with a few hills toward the end, so fat tire bikes only,
it's just fine to push up the last few hills and there may be a truck to help those that wish to have
it (It will be transporting you gear. for details on distance and elevation, click on
