Meany Winter Programs
Since 1975, Meany Lodge, a private ski area owned by the Mountaineers near Stampede Pass, has offered winter sports lessons to students of all ages and abilities. Whether it is downhill, cross country, snowbord, telemark or lift assisted back country skiing, Meany is the perfect place to learn, away from the over crowded commercial areas. Join one of our scheduled sessions, from drop-in to design your own program. Many packages include a video review (that may be posted to YouTube) to provide feedback on your progress. A Mountaineers' Destination
Meany Lodge, built in 1928, is open to the general public and Mountaineers members. It is rustic but comfortable. The campus (54 acres of private forest), surrounded by the Wenatchee National Forest is available for your snow experience fun.

Easily accessible, this family-friendly lodge is nestled away in the back- country, approximately 10 miles east of Snoqualmie Summit (Exit 62) and 3 miles south of I-90

SnowBoard/Ski Programs Program A/B Series: Eight 1-hr lessons - $75 Arrive Saturday morning at the lodge. One lesson Saturday afternoon, one lesson Sunday morning. Make up lessons with alternate A/B program. Program A Dates: January 7^th - 8^th, 21^st - 22^nd, February 4^th - 5^th, March 3^rd - 4^th Registration: Skiing Snowboarding Program B Dates: January 14^th - 15^th, 28^th - 29^th, February 11^th - 12^th, 25^th - 26^th Registration: Skiing Snowboarding Program C: Learn in One Weekend 1 day - $40/1 weekend - $60 This 1-day or 1-weekend (2 hrs each day) class will kick start your winter fun. Personal help will be given about clothing and equipment before classes. Dates: January 7^th - 8^th or 14^th - 15^th Registration: Skiing Snowboarding: Program D: Drop-in lesson - $20 1 hour group lesson, either Saturday or Sunday, no video Dates: Weekends except Feb 18^th - 19^th Registration: Skiing Snowboarding: Program E: Private Lessons $35 for one person/$60 for two w/one instructor One, 1 hour private coaching session, either Saturday or Sunday Share the hour with a friend and get $10 discount Dates: Weekends except Feb 18^th - 19^th Registration: Skiing Snowboarding		Special Programs Program F: Lift assisted Back-country skiing 1 day - $35/1 weekend - $60 Ski untracked terrain with a coach to increase your skills (limit of 6/class) 2 hour lesson per day Class Limit - 6 Dates: February 4^th or February 4^th - 5^th Registration: Program F Program G: Advance Skier Tune Up (Downhill coaching/techniques) 1 day - $35/1 weekend - $60 Class Limit - 8 Dates: January 28^th or Januray 28^th - 29^th Registration: Program G Program H: Intro to XC Skating 2 day seminar (2 hour class per day) $70 Dates: February 4^th - 5^th Registration: Program H Trek & Lunch Programs (L, M & N) A 3 - 5 mile (500 ft elevation gain in last mile) trek to the Meany Lodge campus. Both Snowshoe and Cross-Country treks depart Saturdays at 8:30 AM from the Crystal Springs Sno-park. A hearty hot lunch will be served at 12:30 PM. You will need to purchase a both one day sno-park permit and and a one day Discover permit Snowshoe Snowshoe trek travel time is approx 2 - 3 hrs. the Trek group will leave the Meany Campus around 2 pm, for the downhill snowshoe trek back to the parking lot, arriving between 4:00 and 5:00 PM. No previous snowshoeing experience required, but you should be able to walk at least 5 miles at a medium pace. We recommend coming with a pair, but Meany does have a limit amount for rental XC-Sking Please contact Patti Polinsky for specific requirements and needs. The cost for either snowshoe or XC ski trek is $10.
