Nestled on a scenic ridge near the eastern portal of the historic Stampede Pass Train Tunnel (just 3 miles Southwest from exit 62 on I-90), Meany lodge is the oldest of the Mountaineer's ski lodges. Situated near the meandering Yakima River, and surrounded by the lush, peaceful Wenatchee National Forest, it is a welcome respite from the chaos of cities and commercial ski areas.

Meany hosts a 450 ft vertical drop, private ski slope. The slope has a total of 32 downhill runs. Access to the runs is via the only certified rope tow west of the Rockies. Novice and intermediate skiers/snowboarders enjoy the four groomed runs, while advanced and experts can take advantage of a variety of non-groomed (up to double black diamond) and back-country runs. The Meany campus encompasses approximately one mile of groomed cross-country trails, with additional trails winding through the surrounding landscape to a variety of destinations. Historic Stampede Pass, the NWS Weather Station at Stampede Pass and Mt. Frances are all within easy distance of the lodge.

Besides winter sports, Meany offers a variety of scheduled activities throughout the year:

If you are looking to hold a secluded seminar or a rustic day/weekend retreat, Whether it be Northwest Trackers, Sierra Club, a school function, a family reunion or even a wedding, our rates, starting at $35 per person for room/board are unbeatable. The lodge sleeps up to 97 in a hostel style environment. It's large gathering room and multiple smaller classrooms can accommodate a variety needs. Meany can handle most audio/video or computer needs, all you need to do is ask.
